Bright visage scatters the demons of night
While her warm embrace sets hearts at ease
Eos, shining sister of sun and moon
The blind bard Homer praised your saffron robe
Swirling zephyrs spread light over the dune
Your luminescence forever sweeps the globe
This morning’s meeting upon sparkling sands
Opened a blazing path to divine lands
